Our multidisciplinary general dental practice located in Pottsville, PA is seeking a full or part-time dental hygienist. Our 20 year old dental practice emphasizes the importance of providing exceptional patient service along with quality dentistry. As a practice owner/dentist I prioritize treating patients and staff with respect. I feel the most fulfilled by building a strong cohesive team and practice in which our patients feel proud to visit.
With our practice growth and possibility of adding a multi generational family dental legacy, we are seeking motivated self-starters with a desire to provide exceptional care for our patients.
We are proud to say that our existing staff has been a part of our team for an extremely long time. We are looking to add like-minded individuals who can function as an exceptional team and have fun in doing so. Preference will be given to those candidates who display a willingness to cross train and fulfill multiple roles within the practice.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral health practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote optimal patient outcomes in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Be a great teammate and help the practice, doctor, and staff in whatever capacity needed
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
- Assist in the management of medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed.
- Maintain aseptic techniques in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans for patients, including those requiring pediatric dentistry care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology relevant to general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages regarding their oral health needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
