We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments tailored for pediatric patients.
- Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with clinic protocols.
- Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and documentation review.
- Assist the dental team with various tasks as needed to enhance patient care within the clinic setting.
Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
- Experience or training in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of infection control protocols.
- Familiarity with documentation review processes and medical coding is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children and their guardians.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
