Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall management of patient health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and comfort, as well as adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the dental clinic.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough documentation reviews of patient medical histories and dental records.
Provide exceptional patient care by performing dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Take and record vital signs to ensure patient health is monitored.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures by working closely with the dentist during treatments.
Maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Maintain accurate medical records using Eaglesoft software for efficient practice management.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
Proficient in documentation review, patient care, vital signs assessment, four-handed dentistry, aseptic technique, medical imaging, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining medical records.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
A compassionate approach towards patient care and comfort.

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
