North Country Pediatrics Dentistry:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! This role offers the unique opportunity to travel between our Teaneck and Wyckoff offices, providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and a willingness to travel between both locations.
Sign-on Bonus: $1,800

Associates in Dental Hygiene
State Dental Hygienist license
Pediatric experience strongly preferred
Ability to complete documentation promptly and accurately
Ability to use sound judgment; possess a calm disposition and the ability to work easily with others

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patient
Completes dental prophylaxis by removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth
Applies preventative material to teeth: sealants, fluoride
Assess oral health conditions, provide oral cancer screenings and head/neck inspections
Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions, providing reminders by the time of the next dental hygiene visit. Counsel patients about good nutrition and its impacts on oral health.
Make impressions of patient's teeth for case studies
Documents dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and medical/dental histories; charting in patient records
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Maintains professional and technical knowledge on a regular basis
Assist with front office work as needed or requested
Complies with all company policies and procedures
