Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed, dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices. This role involves working closely with patients to provide preventive care, educate them about oral health, and assist the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Please note that pay will be discussed privately with the Doctor at time of interview!
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the documentation review of patient records and maintain accurate health histories.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and familiarity with infection control standards.
