Our friendly 5 practice is seeking an experienced professional to join the team at our well-respected private multi-specialty practice. The position is for 3-5 days a week, with flexible scheduling and an opportunity for growth and advancement.
Qualifications and Experience:
MINIMUM OF 2+ YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Previous experience in a dental office, particularly in a front desk or administrative role, is required. Prior management skills a plus.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with Dentrix dental practice management software, electronic billing, and other computer applications is essential.
- Knowledge of Dental Terminology: An understanding of dental procedures and terminology for communicating effectively with patients and staff.
- Insurance and Billing Knowledge: Understanding insurance processes, coding (CDT codes), and billing procedures is necessary for managing patient accounts and claims.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains doctor/hygienist schedule.
- Responsible for answering incoming calls to include, new patient calls, emergencies, scheduling patient appointments, and follow up.
- Manage unscheduled list, asap list, treatment pending list.
- Greet and check patients in and out, before and after treatment.
- Document patient dental treatments and financial transactions.
- Discuss and make pre-treatment financial arrangements with patients.
- Responsible for billing dental insurance, posting payments, and claim estimations.
- General office duties and other duties as required
