Smiles at Fairfax- Rayek is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist in Fairfax, VA, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. We are committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygienist at Smiles at Fairfax- Rayek, you'll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, all while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. We offer a friendly, growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is always a priority.

Competitive Pay: $60-$70/hour + monthly bonus opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-2:00pm

Responsibilities

Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and oral health.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
Familiarity with medical records management and documentation review processes.
Ability to assist in various dental procedures as needed.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently.

Qualifications

Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Certifications: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
