What You’ll Do
- Chairside assistance: charting, patient education, operatory setup/turnover
- Imaging & diagnostics: digital X-rays, CT scans, panoramic images (pre-/mid-/post-treatment)
- Clinical excellence: independently assist on implants, All-on-4/10, complex cosmetic cases; fabricate multiple temporary crowns; pack cord,
- Treatment planning: enter, organize, and discuss plans in Open Dental
- Clinical supply management: track inventory and order supplies to keep ops running smoothly
- Maintenance & compliance: perform daily/weekly/monthly clinical maintenance; uphold OSHA standards and documentation
- Sterilization: instruments and operatories to the highest standards
- Team integration: coordinate smoothly with front desk for scheduling and checkout
What We’re Looking For
Certification
- EFDA
- Oregon X-ray certification & current CPR
Experience
- 1 + year as a dental assistant with an advanced EFDA skillset ready to hit the ground running
Skills
- Proficient in Open Dental software
- Proven mastery of assisting with implants, All-on-4/All-on-10, cosmetic procedures, cord packing, and multiple temporary crowns
- Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations and clinical maintenance protocols
- Experience with clinical supply ordering and inventory management
- Knows exactly when pre-, mid-, and post-treatment images are required
- Works independently without constant guidance
- Soft skills: strong communication, emotional maturity, and time-management
