We are a progressive family dental practice seeking a full-time Front Desk team member. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care to families throughout Dutchess County and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate dependability in attendance and job task completion.
Be punctual and show up to work as scheduled.
Greet patients and callers, handle inquiries, and forward calls as necessary.
Schedule appointments and accurately provide information.
Operate a multi-line telephone system.
Navigate patient workflows efficiently in practice management software.
Verify PPO insurance eligibility and benefits breakdown.
Process insurance claims accurately and promptly.
Retrieve and post insurance payments and adjustments.
Assist with treatment planning and clearly explain financials to patients.
Maintain paper and electronic files, collect mail, and handle courier deliveries.

Required Skills:

Experience with PPO plans: eligibility, verification, billing, and payment posting.
Multitasking and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
Ability to treatment plan and review financials with patients.
Cross-training experience is a plus.
Most importantly, must be attentive to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
