Part Time Front Office Position

We are a general dentistry practice looking for a part time front office person to join our professional team. Our aim is to develop long term relationships with our patients through excellent clinical care, high levels of communication, and unsurpassed customer service. The ideal candidate will help to create the best dental experience possible for our patients. This is an opportunity to be a valued member of a friendly and harmonious team. Experience and Skills:

Dental Knowledge a plus

Extroverted personality with a true interest in creating good relationships with patients and teammates.

Ability to help put anxious patients at ease

Computer/technology savvy (paperless charting)

Good time management skills

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Duties

Manage patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Utilize dental software for scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and documenting patient interactions.
Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow within the office.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and patient waiting rooms.
Support billing processes by verifying insurance information and assisting with claims submissions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical records management and documentation review processes.
Proficient in using computerized software.
Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide outstanding patient service.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also managing individual tasks effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical or dental assisting is a plus.
