Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient patient flow. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for patients while handling administrative tasks related to dental office operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in for their appointments.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software system (Eaglesoft)
- Manage patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with dental billing tasks, ensuring accuracy in patient accounts.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance coverage.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Process payments and handle insurance claims efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient care and communication.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical administrative support role is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Strong understanding of dental billing, coding, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent
