Position Overview
We’re seeking a reliable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. EFDA certification is preferred but not required—we value experience, a great attitude, and a commitment to clinical excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures
- Take impressions and diagnostic digital x-rays
- Maintain operatory setup, sterilization, and infection control standards
- Record patient notes and treatment details accurately in our software system
- Help patients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their visit
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification and current Oregon radiology and CPR certification (required)
- EFDA certification (preferred)
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a warm, team-oriented approach
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus
