Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Front Desk Associate to be one of the faces of our office and ensure the smooth operation of the practice. The ideal Candidate is required to have a solid understanding of the dental front office and have experience presenting treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Own the overall flow of appointment check-ins to ensure a smooth process.
- Treatment plan presentations
- Understanding fee for service and out of network benefits and the ability to explain that to patients
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups, and physician referrals
- Resolve complex patient complaints and address inquiries about policies and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors
- Upload all paperwork (into Open Dental and make sure that it’s transferred over correctly into the chart) Follow up with patients who have not done their paperwork
- Update patient paperwork and consent forms accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure voicemails, slack, emails and Weave messages are checked and returned
- Verify insurance plans are entered correctly and fee schedules are accurate.
Experience Required:
- Open dental experience is required
- CPR Certification
- Ability to present treatment plans
- Dental experience required - private practice preferred
- 2 years as treatment coordinator or similar position
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask
- Three professional references required
Job Type: Full-time, M-Th 7:30-5 Fridays (once a month) 7:30-2

Probationary Period:
This position includes a 90-day probationary period. During this time, the employee's performance, skills, and compatibility with the team will be assessed. Successful completion of the probationary period is required for continuation in the role.
