MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN DENTAL MANAGING
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly while providing exceptional patient care. The Dental Office Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, insurance verification, Benefit coordinating, managing budgets, and implementing efficient systems to enhance productivity.
Duties for Office Manager:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain effective systems for patient scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate utilization management processes to optimize patient care and resource allocation.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and efficiency within the clinic.
- Supervise human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to enhance clinic operations and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor managed care contracts and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Dental office management or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and utilization management principles.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing human resources functions effectively.
- Familiarity with systems used in dental is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee all accounts receivable management, including over-the-counter collections, prepare statements, follow-up insurance claims, follow-up delinquent accounts and create payment arrangements with patients
- Provide patient education materials.
- Provide staff support as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Manage patient scheduling and billing and ensure that patient accounts and records are accurate and complete and that patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.
· Administer the practice schedule, develop policies and establish protocols for all aspects of patient scheduling to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
· Administer patient management processes including developing and implementing new patient experience protocols and reengagement strategies.
· Manage patient dental benefit plan information. Verify and update benefit details offering educate to patients on their dental benefits.
· Conduct financial new treatment plan consultations with all new and existing patients.
· Oversee all accounts receivable management, including over-the-counter collections, prepare statements, follow-up insurance claims, follow-up delinquent accounts and create payment arrangements with patients.
· Provide patient education materials.
· Provide staff support as needed.
