We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong administrative and computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently using dental software.
Manage patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Gather and verify dental insurance information, submit claims, coordinate dental treatment with patients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Assist in filing patient records and ensuring confidentiality is upheld.
Provide administrative support to dental staff as needed.

Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office is preferred.
Proficient in administrative tasks including documentation review, typing, and filing.
Experience with Open Dental or similar practice management software is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
