Dental Insurance Billing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Dental Insurance Billing Coordinator to join our team and oversee all insurance-related processes. If you have a strong understanding of dental insurance billing, claim submissions, and follow-up procedures—and enjoy working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment—we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit dental claims promptly and accurately to insurance providers
Post insurance payments and reconcile with patient accounts
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and handle appeals as necessary
Manage aging reports and maintain up-to-date ledgers
Communicate professionally with patients regarding their insurance coverage and balances

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in dental insurance billing (required)
Proficiency with Dentrix (required)
Strong knowledge of PPO plans, coordination of benefits, and dental coding
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
