Our team is looking to add a chairside assistant to our progressive and growing practice. Looking for a positive and caring team player who is willing to learn. Experienced is preferred but not required.
Skills we would hope to see in a candidate:
Chairside assisting experience
Dental radiography license
Ability to take alginate impressions and pour models
Experience assisting with crowns, bridges, root canals, and surgical procedures
Current CPR certification
Responsibilities:
Becoming sufficient with sterilization of dental instruments
Being a good team player and sharing responsibilities throughout the day
Be a good communicator prior to a dental procedure and providing patient with accurate pre-op and post-op instructions
Be compassionate and patient during lengthy and complex dental procedures
Preference for applicants who have previous Dentrix software experience
Communicate adequately with dental labs and be willing to get trained on completing some lab work
