Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented PRN Dental Assistant to join our team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will support our dentists and dental hygienists in delivering exceptional care and maintaining a smooth patient experience.
This is a flexible, on-call role that’s perfect for someone looking to supplement their current schedule or seeking part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (state requirements may apply)
- CPR certification required
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and work as part of a team
Schedule: PRN / On-Call (Shifts may vary based on clinic needs – flexibility is key)
