Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries.
Maintain accurate patient records, including demographic information and medical history.
Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations and provide support as needed.
Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology when assisting in a dental office setting

Requirements

Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Strong patient service orientation with the ability to empathize with patients' needs.
Proficient in office management practices and clerical duties.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
