Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene within the dental clinic.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Assist in the documentation review of patient medical records and maintain accurate medical imaging.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize medical coding systems for accurate record-keeping and billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control procedures within the dental office.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and patient assessment protocols is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in documentation review, medical imaging, and managing medical records will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $30,344.74 - $60,802.27 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
