Job Summary
The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our dental office. This position involves coordinating treatment plans, managing patient communications, and facilitating the administrative processes necessary for effective patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, dental codes, efficient treatment planning skills and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. We are looking for a rockstar sales driven team member to add to our growing team who can close dental cases and make great money!
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage individualized care plans for patients, ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and assist patients with inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in coding and billing processes as needed, ensuring accuracy in patient accounts.
- Collaborate with dental receptionists and dental staff to streamline patient flow and enhance overall service delivery and highest quality of patient care.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of dental terminology and coding practices.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to foster positive patient interactions.
- Knowledge about dental insurance and insurance verification preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in computerized environments with strong data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing care plans and patient records.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
