Key Responsibilities:

· Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care

· Conduct oral health assessments and charting

· Take and develop digital radiographs

· Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

· Collaborate with the dentist and team to ensure high-quality patient care

· Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

· Current dental hygiene license in New York

· Excellent communication and patient care skills

· Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

· Experience with Open Dental is a plus

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients.
Ability to perform infection control procedures consistently and accurately.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is beneficial for patient assessment processes.
