We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using dental software. We currently use eaglesoft.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, ensuring excellent phone etiquette at all times.
- Review documentation for accuracy before patient visits and assist with medical billing processes.
- Process patient payments
- Bilingual would be great but not necessary
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.
*Skills*
- Strong patient service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similiar practice management software
- Experience in managing medical records and documentation review.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures and ICD-9 coding is an asset.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing patient interaction and service delivery.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a busy environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
