Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative functions of our dental office. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring that all office operations run smoothly.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our medical scheduling system.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Handle phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing.
Process insurance claims and perform medical billing tasks as needed.
Assist with medical coding and ensure proper documentation of services rendered.
Manage office supplies and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Experience in medical administrative support, including knowledge of Medicare processes.
Strong skills in medical billing and coding practices to assist with insurance claims.
Familiarity with office management tasks, including 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and healthcare professionals.
