Position Overview: Front Office Administrative & Treatment Coordinator
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and driven administrative professional with strong communication skills and experience in dental insurance to join our front desk team. This role combines treatment coordination, insurance verification, patient check-out, and schedule optimization to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insurance & Treatment Coordination
- Verify insurance benefits and enter plan details accurately (Medicaid, PPO, Fee-for-Service)
- Submit pre-authorizations and follow up on denied or unpaid claims
- Present treatment plans to patients in a way that is clear, compassionate, and aligned with their goals
- Offer financial options, including payment plans and phased treatment
- Front Desk Operations
- Greet and check-in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Collect and post payments accurately, including co-pays and deposits
- Monitor incoming texts/calls and follow routing protocols
- Confirm appointments and assist with schedule gaps using the short-call list
- Maintain accurate patient charts and update health history every 6 months
- Manage hygiene recare and follow up on unscheduled treatment
- Schedule Optimization
