Summary
As a Certified Dental Assistant (LDA), you will be essential in supporting dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort in a clinical setting. Your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be vital as you assist the dentist in various treatments, including general dentistry and prosthodontics. With premium skills in EMR systems and X-ray procedures, you will help maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines.
- Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations using EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, while also taking vital signs when necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and ensure a smooth workflow.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
