Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
- Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate techniques.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate record-keeping and documentation review.
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, supporting the dentist as needed.
- Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and advancements in pediatric dentistry.

As a registered dental hygienist, you need to have a current state license. You will have a desire to always be learning and want to stay on top of the latest technology. Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
