Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
Take and develop X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Document medical histories and maintain accurate medical documentation in patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using dental practice management systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
Support pediatric patients with a compassionate approach, ensuring their comfort during visits.
Assist in prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.

Experience
Candidates should have:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques and medical documentation practices.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with knowledge of prosthodontics.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is advantageous.
