Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Gathering patient information and health background
- Providing patient care and support
- Taking Digital X-rays and Intraoral camera photo
- Preparing the work area for procedures
- Assisting dentist by handing them instruments and equipment
- Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits
- Directing patients and maintaining schedule
- Stocking treatment areas and monitoring inventory
- Entering patient treatment plans and presenting to patients
Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
- Compassionate and caring of patients
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in an intense, concentrated environment
- Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
- Complies with all regulations, protocols, and procedures
- Dental Assisting certification: certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
- Current certification in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment
- Experience in Eagle Soft and Open Dental
- Nitrous Certified

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week
