Seeking experienced friendly receptionist to handle patient scheduling, patient check in and check out, and heavy call volume in large dental office in Southwest St. Louis County. General office work also required. Knowledge of Dentrix (or other practice software) and dental knowledge is required.

Candidates with experience in a dental office environment preferred.

This is an hourly, full-time or part-time. The full-time position comes with benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, 401K and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

Answer telephones in a friendly and timely manner.
Manage telephone inquiries or direct to the appropriate staff member.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments to maintain a full schedule.
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a pleasant patient experience throughout the appointment.
Check patients in and confirm necessary patient information and insurance coverage and accurately enter into Dentrix practice management software.
Check out patients at conclusion of appointment and collect all fees due.
Perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Two years of experience as a dental receptionist.
High school Diploma or GED.
Outgoing and energetic personality.
Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
Passion for quality customer service.
Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software preferred.
Good understanding of general dental operations and patient flow issues.
Good understanding of dental insurance plans helpful.
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
