Red Sun Dental is hiring a full-time (or multiple part-time) dental hygienist(s) who is (are) committed to comprehensive care. The ideal candidate:
- Understands common oral diseases including diseases of the periodontium, caries, pulpal pathology, malocclusion, and oral pathology
- Can educate patients and explain basic disease processes and treatments to patients of all ages in a friendly, easy to understand manner
- Follows government and business rules pertaining to the health, safety, and privacy of patients and fellow co-workers
- Understands sterilization techniques and adheres to disinfection and sterilization protocols
- Maintains appropriate documentation as related to medical histories, periodontal charting, and procedure notes in a computer based electronic healthcare record
- Provides patient care including obtaining radiographs, scaling and root planing, delivering local anesthetic, and taking both alginate and digital impressions
Qualifications
- Has a valid New Mexico Dental Hygiene License
- Has current BLS training
- Experience is not required. New grads are welcome, and we are happy to train.

Schedule:
- 7:45am - 4pm Tuesday- Thursday; 7:45am -3pm Friday
- Flexible scheduling if needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 40 per week
