Full-Time Associate Dentist – Midwest Family Dental Care - Portage, MI
Midwest Family Dental Care is actively seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our growing team in Portage, MI . We are a privately owned, FFS/PPO practice dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Associate Dentist who is comfortable performing a full range of general dental procedures and committed to providing outstanding patient care.
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule (4 or 5 days per week – hours discussed during interview)
- Patient base with strong FFS/PPO
- Clinical autonomy with a supportive, experienced team
- Charming office equipped with up-to-date technology
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive exams and diagnose dental conditions
- Provide preventive and restorative dental care, including:
- Fillings
- Crowns
- Simple and surgical extractions
- Non-complex endodontic procedures
- Conduct routine oral health screenings, including head and neck cancer exams
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
- Current and valid Michigan dental license
- Strong knowledge of oral and systemic diseases
- Familiarity with common medications and their oral effects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ethical, professional, and patient-centered mindset
- Ability to lead, educate, and connect with patients and team members
