Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and medical office procedures.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
Handle phone calls using multi-line phone systems, providing excellent patient service and phone etiquette.
Verify insurance information and perform insurance verification for patients.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including documentation review and filing.
Support the dental team with clerical tasks and medical administrative support as required.
Ensure the front desk area is organized and well-maintained to provide a professional atmosphere.

Skills

Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical office setting is preferred, along with clerical experience in an administrative role.
