Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Rogers in Athens, TN.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions, specifications and preferences received from doctor.
- Participate in the finishing function of Removable products:
- Remove appliance from duplicate model and dispose of excess material.
- Smooth appliance by using a combination of the ultrasonic stone remover, shell blaster and high speed lathe.
- Polish appliance to a high shine by using the pumice and rag wheel equipment.
- Follow all technical team policies (TTP’s) which have been set as the standard protocol for the manufacturing process in the department.
- Effectively participate in the quality assurance at every case exchange.
- Understand and demonstrate Keller’s core values of Honesty, Respect, Commitment, Accountability and Communication on a daily basis.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Good hand-eye coordination, good manual dexterity, excellent perception skills and strong attention to details.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve using past experience and successes to gauge best steps for future cases.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all team members during the buyer-seller transactions as well as communicating to members of the technical support team, members of management, and the training team.
- Ability to learn and successfully complete all in-house training and verifications.
- Ability to maneuver between the finishing fabrication stations.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
