Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. You will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral health and assisting in various dental procedures. A strong background in general dentistry, and familiarity with dental software systems (such as Eaglesoft) is highly desirable.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in patient diagnosis
- Conduct vital signs checks and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Maintain an aseptic environment by adhering to infection control protocols
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft is a plus
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding is essential
- Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
