Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality general and pediatric dentistry services.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
- Provide professional dental cleanings, including SRP, polishing, sealants, radiographs, and fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the management of patient records using EagleSoft software.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by making children feel comfortable during their visits.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with general dentistry practices is essential.
- Proficiency in using EagleSoft or similar dental software is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
