Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our small town dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and treating periodontal disease in the Silver Valley! It is preferable if you live/move to the area, but you can also commute from the Coeur d'Lane area. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and compassionate patient care. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure a comfortable and effective treatment experience. This is a new practice that has the latest technology to make your job as enjoyable and stress free as it can be. This is not a corporate dental office that is solely focused on production and eventually burning you out. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and preventive care procedures for patients.
- Help diagnose and treat periodontal disease with scaling and root planing as well as regular perio maintenance
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience with dental software is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and dental coding is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and infection control practices.
- No previous experience is required!
- Ability to perform chairside assisting duties as needed in rare situations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages

Pay: $47.00 - $60.00 per hour
