Our growing practice is seeking a full time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a well-established general dental practice providing care for patients of all ages. As a key member of our team, this professional will provide high-quality patient care, conduct routine dental hygiene procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience while working alongside experienced dental professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provides thorough prophylactic and periodontal treatment, including scaling and polishing, to patients of all ages.
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and visual examinations to determine treatment needs.
- Take accurate medical records and document patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system, utilizing software such as Dentrix.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized dental hygiene plans.
- Instructs patients in oral hygiene technique, answering patient questions and providing
other educational information relevant to oral hygiene.
- Provides associated administrative support, including maintaining patient documentation, patient communication and other record-keeping.
-Adhere to OSHA guidelines with strict infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Implement and maintain HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Provide quality dental care at both of our locations (Crowley and Eunice, LA)
-Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited college.
-Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Louisiana.
-Local anesthesia certification preferred but not required.
-Excellent communication skills and service-oriented attitude.
-Must be detail oriented and be willing to grow.
