Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice and infection control.

Duties

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Conduct a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure the use of aseptic techniques and uphold infection control protocols throughout all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix software.
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.

Experience

A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is an asset.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
Experience performing root canal therapy and other advanced procedures is advantageous.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
