Seguin Smiles PLLC, the private practice of Dr. Janice Weinman, is looking for a professional, mature, gentle, and highly knowledgeable full-time dental hygienist to join our TEAM!
This is a PRIVATE PRACTICE, not corporately owned. We are ideally seeking a full-time hygienist (Monday–Friday), but may consider part-time availability if the right candidate applies.
The ideal candidate must have a strong perio background, excellent clinical, written, and verbal communication skills, and be confident using the latest dental technology.
Office Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm

Duties
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and assess dental radiographs
- Evaluate patients’ oral health and provide treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Monitor nitrous oxide analgesia and perform LASER therapy as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
- Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Texas
- Strong knowledge of perio treatment and oral-systemic health
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance
- Familiarity with dental software systems (Eaglesoft preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
