The Tri-State Center For Advanced Implant Dentistry And Periodontics is seeking the perfect candidate to join our team as a Receptionist, Patient Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office, including scheduling software, confirming insurance benefits and posting insurance payments. Familiarity with Periodontics and Implant Dentistry procedure coding is also desirable.

General duties:
- Greeting, maintaining a clean and comfortable reception area
- Answering multiline phones
- Retrieving and distributing phone messages
- Scheduling new patient appointments, gathering all pertinent demographic and insurance information
- Confirming upcoming appointments
- Confirming insurance benefits utilizing websites and calling insurance providers
- Posting charges to patient accounts, and collecting patient payments, insurance bulk checks
- Accurately posting insurance payments
- Sending and processing incoming US Mail
- Gathering referrals and x-rays from referring offices
- Importing digital x-rays from other offices
- Maintaining patient records and sending correspondence
- Monitor “sooner if possible” patient list & contact to schedule
- Confirming patient information
- Review and confirm patient medical history updates
- Filing & pulling physical charts
- Inactivating physical charts
- Distributing daily schedules
- Communicating daily schedule alterations
- Make new patient educational packets
- Reception area inventory evaluation & organize ordered supplies
- Pro-actively examine upcoming schedule and communicate with team
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Supports Office Manager, Financial Coordinator, and Hygienist as needed
- Additional duties will be assigned to achieve office standards and goals

PPE (gowns, surgical caps, KN95's, face shields, foot covers, etc) are all supplied. We also have state-of-the-art air purifiers in operatories, and in the halls, as well as UV-C equipment to keep staff and patients safe.
