Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice.
Duties:
- Chairside Dental Assisting
- Dental Instrument management, sterilization, organization and storage
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using office software
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments from patients and provide accurate billing information
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal service delivery
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Super fun and upbeat personality
- Experience as a Dental Assitant preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is preferred but not required
- CPR certification will be required once hired and paid for by employer
- We are willing to train the right employee
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 – 32 per week
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dental terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
