A career opportunity combining your excellent business acumen, organizational talents, and team leading skills that is bound to make you smile.
North Macon Dental Associates is the comprehensive general dental practice of Dr. Jordan Baker-Anday, Dr. Yosef Anday, and Colleagues. The management (non-clinical) responsibilities of this busy, popular practice are more than what two supercharged wife-and-husband dentists can shoulder alone! Therefore, Drs. Anday and Team are eagerly in search of a talented Operations Manager to join the practice and assume the many tasks that run “the business side” of the practice. If you enjoy managing a “big professional family” coupled with the operations of a progressive, relationship based, and community-oriented organization, drive your career talents into the rewarding field of dentistry!
A perfectly well-balanced role: People, business metrics, projects, and service.
Our Operations Manager will represent the values and integrate the directives expressed by Drs. Anday. We have an amazing, expansive team comprised of two associate doctors, five administrative staff, six dental assistants, and six hygienists. It’s the day-to-day support provided by our new Operations Manager that will support our consistent performance and focus to do what we do best… Taking care of patients. After learning the basic processes of administrative patient management, general areas of responsibility include managing personnel, overseeing operations and projects, supporting patient management when needed, and processing key functions related to accounts receivable & financial management, as further described below.
Personnel Management:Examples of responsibilities includeorganizing and leading team meetings, cultivating and developing high-performing staff members, leading our morning huddle, keeping track of time-off and vacation requests, coordinating staff coverage efforts, and coordinating details for staff outings and celebrations. As the practice grows and new positions are added, you’ll lead efforts with candidate interviews and staff selection.
Project & Operations Management: Our Operations Manager will oversee facility maintenance, follow up on decisions and deadlines decided in meetings, manage projects for the doctors (especially when unforeseen issues arise), assemble monthly metrics reports, discuss “numbers” and strategies for growth, collaborate with the doctors on practice building efforts and implementing many of the strategies to support decisions, handle various tech support issues, and contact resources when outside services are required. Essentially, the Operations Manager is “on point” for Drs. Anday to manage, solve, and prevent problems.
Patient Management:To deliver the most attentive patient services, our staff make the patient experience timely, positive, and seamless. Our Operations Manager will be cross-trained to fill-in, when needed, for our fabulous Treatment and Scheduling Coordinators who handle each step of patient check-in, check-out, collecting payments, registration, scheduling, presenting treatment plans, and phones. Our Operations Manager will resolve any non-routine patient concerns with professionalism and compassion.
Revenue Cycle & Financial Management: Our Operations Director will oversee accounts receivable, process payroll, manage patient billing, make soft calls to inquire about open balances, and aid in financial reporting.
