Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced, independent, and highly motivated Dental Office Manager to be the right-hand partner to the owner dentist in leading our practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on taking full ownership of administrative operations, improving systems, and building an exceptional team culture.
You’ll handle all day-to-day administrative responsibilities, including training, hiring, HR, payroll, billing oversight, insurance credentialing, and evaluating financial performance. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, improve efficiency, and ensure our practice runs smoothly — even if it means restructuring our current team to better meet our goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, mentor, and hold front office team members accountable for excellence in their roles.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and when necessary, termination of staff to build the strongest team possible.
- Manage payroll, HR compliance, and performance reviews.
- Oversee billing, collections, and insurance processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle insurance credentialing, fee schedule evaluation, and negotiate with carriers to improve profitability.
- Manage vendor relationships, pay invoices, and track overhead costs.
- Partner with the doctor to identify operational improvements and implement them efficiently.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and solutions-focused environment.

Qualifications
- Required: Minimum 3 years of dental office management experience (front and back-office understanding required).
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, credentialing, and billing processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with dental practice management software (Dentrix preferred).
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
