Job Description
Orthodontic Dental Assistants are responsible for providing hands-on support to the Orthodontist and completing prep work so they can more efficiently care for patients. The Orthodontic Assistant is primarily responsible for performing adjustments for patients, assisting with bondings and de-bondings , changing wires and rubber bands and more. They also assist the dentist during their procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment.
Pay
$17.00-21.00 + an hour based on experience
Education Experience
- High School Diploma or DEG
Qualifications
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel or similar software
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with callers, physicians, and offices
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills for positive relationship building
- Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
- X-ray certified preferred - we will provide on the job training

Schedule
8 hour shift Monday to Friday (hours may vary based on the needs of the practice)
