Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide high-quality dental care in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform dental procedures including extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and patient comfort.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in general dentistry practices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in dental terminology and medical documentation
- Strong patient care and assessment skills
- Experience in general dentistry, including dental extractions and prosthodontics
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
- Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a dental clinic environment
