We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced and patient-centered dental practice. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in dental assisting along with specific hands-on experience in Dentrix, Dexis, and CEREC systems. A valid Radiology License is required. We are looking for someone who consistently exceeds expectations in patient care, clinical support, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a wide variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and organize treatment rooms and trays for dental procedures
Capture high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos (Dexis proficiency required)
Perform digital charting using Dentrix software
Design and fabricate CEREC crowns and restorations chairside
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Monitor and maintain dental equipment and supply inventory
Provide exceptional chairside assistance that enhances the patient experience
Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program or Equivalent Experience
Active Radiology License (State-specific)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
Proficient with:
Dentrix or/and other Practice Management Software (patient management and charting)
Dexis (digital imaging)
CEREC (scanning, design, milling, and finishing)
CPR/BLS certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized

Additional Qualifications (to exceed expectations – not required):

Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification
Knowledge of sterilization monitoring and documentation best practices
Experience with patient education and case presentation
Proven track record of maintaining a high standard of infection control and safety
Ability to troubleshoot dental equipment and technology
Demonstrated initiative
