We are currently seeking a part-time Medical & Dental Receptionist at our Tower clinic to represent the clinic in a positive and professional manner to all of our patients and visitors. In this position, you'll enjoy working with a positive and energetic team of providers to provide quality and efficient patient care. The Medical & Dental Receptionist will provide assistance to patients through scheduling and registration as well as assisting with general questions and concerns prior to their appointment. The schedule for this position is Monday-Wednesday, 8am-5pm

Medical & Dental Receptionist Responsibilities:

Answer all phones calls and transfer inquiries to appropriate staff when necessary
Schedule, cancel and register patient appointments both over the phone and in person
Prepare for patients' appointments by placing reminder calls and compiling charts with required information
Verify patient demographic and insurance information before appointment to ensure billing accuracy
Accept, post, record, and maintain patient payments
Send eligibility notices to applicable patients regarding income based programs such as SAGE and Sliding Fee Scale
Assist nursing staff with medical records functions such as sending and receiving patient health information; and scanning documents into the EMR and EDR systems
Send out dental release of information requests for patient records
Organize, order and maintain office supplies
