Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing specialized care and support to younger patients.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Keep accurate records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with practice protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the clinical environment.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
