Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-known dental practice in Ocala, FL to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $20-25/hour PLUS an average monthly bonus of $1,500 with working hours of.
MONDAYS, TUES, THURS: 7:30am - 5p
WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS: 6:30am - 4p
Duties:
- Update and maintain client’s dental records
- Chart in OpenDental
- Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
- Take and process X-rays of patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Radiology certificate
- Previous dental assisting experience, preferred
- Willingness to learn and an upbeat, positive personality
- CDA or Expanded functions HIGHLY PREFERRED
